(Call name: Mole) is a dark yellow/fox red English Labrador retriever with excellent conformation. Born in August of 2001, Mole was imported to the United States from England during the spring of 2002. During the fall of 2002, he began his first hunting season in the rice fields of Southeast Missouri and at the increasingly popular Otter Slough conservation area. During this first waterfowl season, Mole proved to be an excellent gun dog making numerous retrieves. Mole was steady to shot and an excellent companion in the blind or on the layout boat. During January of 2003, Mole proved himself by demonstrating his abilities quartering fields and flushing birds on numerous pheasant and quail hunts. During the 2003/04 waterfowl season, he again proved to be an excellent and versatile hunting companion retrieving ducks, geese, and snipe.
Mole has an extremely strong desire to retrieve and to please his handler. At 68 pounds, Mole is extremely quick, powerful and agile. His all business attitude, speedy retrieves and dynamic water entries are a joy to watch. Mole’s pedigree includes:
